PreSwing began with a simple yet powerful realization: golfers often excel under the watchful eye of their instructor but struggle to carry those lessons onto the course. Founder Benny Alon experienced this firsthand—he’d thrive at the driving range, guided by his golf pro, but as soon as he stepped onto the first tee, he found himself second-guessing his shots. “I wish my golf pro was here to remind me what to do,” he’d think each time a key moment slipped by without the right tips at hand.

Determined to fix it, Benny teamed up with seasoned technology leader Scott Blanford to build an app that delivers hands-free, on-demand audio coaching wherever you stand. They tapped Ross Berlin—whose 40 years of tour connections unlocked PGA & LPGA voices—and PGA Teacher of the Year Justin Klemballa to make sure every tip is battle-tested and course-ready. Each member of the team shared a singular focus: close the gap between practice and play by delivering on-demand audio coaching, paired with GPS-driven insights, directly into a golfer’s hands (or ears) .

From that very first prototype—where you could load skill-specific tips and hear them read aloud—to today’s growing lineup of top pros, caddies, and coaches, PreSwing has evolved into your ultimate mobile caddie. Our journey is fueled by one question: how do we give you the confidence and clarity you need when it matters most? That’s why, even as we continue to grow, our story remains rooted in one golfer’s wish: to have a trusted caddie by their side, every stroke of the way.
